LITERATURE REVIEW


A literature review is a type of review article. A literature review is a scholarly paper that presents the current knowledge including substantive findings as well as theoretical and methodological contributions to a particular topic.A review of literature is not a mere reading.It is focused and directed towards specific purposes.


TYPES OF LITERATURE REVIEW


At this point you will need to determine how to actually structure the summaries  taken on the articles and studies in the literature. The organisation of the summaries varies depending on the type of research report and the traditional for literature review on different campus.two types of review of literature thematic and study by study review. -THEMATIC LITERATURE REVIEW


The Researcher identifies a theme and briefly cites literature to document this theme.In this approach the author discuss only the major ideas or theme from studies rather than the details of any single study.Authors use this approach frequently in journals and articles but students also are it for dissertation and thesis in graduations programme.

-STUDY BY STUDY LITERATUREREVIEW 


It provides detailed summary of each study grouped under a broder theme.This detailed summary includes the element of an abstract.Typically appears in Journals, articles that summary the literature amd in dissertation and thesis.when presenting a study review authors link summaries by using transactional sentences and they organise the summaries under sub heading that reflects theme and major divisions.
